CATALOG DESCRIPTION: An introduction to the major concepts, problems, issues and practices of literary study in Spanish.
DESCRIPTION: An introduction to the major concepts, problems, issues and practices of literary study in Spanish.
TOPICS: Literature, literary genres, and literary criticism will be duscussed.
OBJECTIVES: Students should complete Spanish 339 with an increased ability to read literary texts perceptively and to respond to those texts with greater sophistication of thought and clarity of expression.
REQUIREMENTS: Requirements will vary from semester to semester. Typical assignments include response papers, student/professor conferences, essays, tests, and a course portfolio.
PREREQUISITES: Spanish 321.
