| TOPICS: | An overview of German culture, language and history. Comparison with English language and in particular American culture. | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | Students finishing this course: Should understand the impact of German culture upon their own culture. Be aware of why other countries, people act, and think differently. Have a limited knowledge of German government, culture and history. | ||
| REQUIREMENTS: | Attendance, participation in class and timely completion of assignments. Able to work at a satisfactory level in German. | ||
