TOPICS:
OBJECTIVES: To help students develop a basic understanding of the functioning of the muscular (including connective tissues), skeletal, nervous, and circulatory systems during human movement activities. This foundation knowledge will enable the student to better diagnose soft tissue injuries, identify ergonomic stresses in human work functions and injury risk, and treat selected injuries through appropriate strengthening and stretching techniques.
