CATALOG DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to give studetns an exposure to different lifestyle enhancement tools and techniques. The students will gain information that will enable them to teach individuals or groups lifestyle improving behaviors and techniques.
DESCRIPTION: Students are prepared to instruct individuals and groups in principles and lifestyle strategies that promote wellness.
TOPICS: Stress management, back care, ergonomics, blood pressure, fitness assessment, weight training, nutrition, smoking cessation, weight control, flexibility.

OBJECTIVES: Students will be able to: 1) understand the ways people learn and which are most appropriate for certain lifestyle behavior change, 2) develop competency in administering various lifestyle enhancing behaviors, 3) develop a base of materials to enable the student to develop a portfolio of lifestyle development tools 4) become competent in accessing the web to find current information on various lifestyle enhance-
ment sites.
