| TOPICS: | Using decorative stitches and gathering techniques to construct a pillow; Sew a dress, joining a bodice to a skirt; Knit shirt using the serger and learning various neck treatments; Fitted jacket with lining; Selecting the appropriate methods for different fabrics | ||
| OBJECTIVES: | 1. Demonstrate construction skills on specialty fabrics. 2. Apply specific construction techniques for various design principles. 3. Derive solutions to construction problems. 4. Select the appropriate needle, thread, interfacing, and stitch for different fabrics. 5. Use decorative stitches in creating a design. |
