GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: General preparatory practicums for students who have not decided on an emphasis. Prepares students for work with department's media and communication organizations.
TAUGHT: Winter, Summer, Fall
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Supervised work on a variety of communication-oriented, volunteer, or service-oriented projects applying interpersonal, speech and rhetoric, organizational, and general communication principles. Out-of-class experiences.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Apply the information learned in class to real-life experiences.
REQUIREMENTS: Hands-on experience, volunteering, evaluations, portfolios, self-evaluation.
PREREQUISITES: COMM 100. Communication major or minor or consent of Instructor.
OTHER: May be repeated for credit.
