DESCRIPTION: Hands-on experience with analyzing public relations scenarios and challenges, then producing effective materials appropriate for the situation, publics and media. Provides experience with writing, editing, media production and serving as spokesperson.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Hands-on experience with analyzing public relations scenarios and challenges, then producing effective materials appropriate for the situation, publics and media. Provides experience with writing, editing, media production and serving as spokesperson.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Demonstrate professional-level competency in preparing two public relations campaigns that incorporate theory and skills learned in previous PR courses.
REQUIREMENTS: Written evaluations, campaign presentations, peer review, Instructor evaluation, professional review, group work, group presentations, strategic planning, writing, and production.
PREREQUISITES: COMM 335, COMM 337 and COMM 338
