DESCRIPTION: Event-driven, integrative consideration of contemporary Communication happenings and issues, with students coming together from the various areas of study to conduct discussions and prepare presentations from their respective perspectives.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Event-driven, integrative consideration of contemporary Communication happenings and issues, with students coming together from the various emphases to conduct discussions and prepare presentations from their respective perspectives.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Select and complete a significant capstone project. Assess most important academic and life experiences to date. Assess life and career plans, setting short and long term goals. Assess core beliefs and values and practical application of those beliefs and values. Identify key skills needed for success in chosen career. Gather artifacts that demonstrate competence in those skills. Assemble all above in an electronic portfolio accessible to potential employers or graduate schools.
REQUIREMENTS: Discussions, practical experience, written assignments, multidisciplinary groups, introspection, lectures, project outcome, final presentation, and portfolio.
PREREQUISITES: Senior standing.
