DESCRIPTION: An introductory course in human anatomy and physiology for non-science and non-health professions majors.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Introduction to science, basic biochemistry, cell structure and function, tissues, body systems (integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, digestive, endocrine, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive).
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Help students understand their own bodies and how they work. Help non-science majors to be able to communicate with health professionals and others about body systems and their functions. Introduce students to science and scientific discovery.
