GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: Full-time employment as a computer engineering intern for one semester or more.

CONTENT AND TOPICS:
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Understand professional and ethical responsibility.
2. Observe the behavior and work-habits of experienced engineers;
3. Write progress reports, detailing accomplishments and experiences to the Internship Coordinator;
4. Recognize the need for and engage in lifelong learning;
5. Get real-world experience in a related technical job, applying some of the principles learned in class;
6.Know contemporary issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
PREREQUISITES: Completion of first four semesters; Consent of Advisor and Department Internship Coordinator.
