DESCRIPTION: Dynamic modeling, dynamic response, analysis and design of feedback control based on root locus, frequency response, state variable feedback. Analysis includes performance, stability, Nyquist criteria, Bode constrains; Design includes PID, Lead/Lag, and observational state feedback controllers.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Have the ability to analyze a feedback system: Determine stability; root-locus, Nyquist criteria, Bode constraints; Predict performance; percent overshoot, settling time, rise time
2. The ability to design controllers: PID, Root-locus, Lead/Lag, Observer-based state feedback
