DESCRIPTION: Introduction to electronic control systems, feedback control theory, and Programmable Logic Controllers. Computers are used to program PLCs. Laboratory exercises are included.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Introduction to electronic control systems, feedback control theory, and Programmable Logic Controllers. Electromechanical components. Interface circuits between mechanics and electronics.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Know how electronic control systems, feedback control theory, and Programmable Logic Controllers operate.
2. Become familiar with Electro-mechanical components.
3. Demonstrate Interface circuits between mechanics and electronics.
4. Present some of the class topics.
REQUIREMENTS: Students will present assigned control theory topics to the class.
PREREQUISITES: EET 150, EET 151, EET 153; Corequisite: Math 112
