DESCRIPTION: Theory and application of non-destructive testing systems. Techniques for quality control. Includes magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, leak, visual, and ultrasonic testing.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The student will:
1. Demonstrate basic methods of NDE.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of welding and N.D.T. weld symbols.
3. Demonstrate ability to match NDE process with specific applications.
4. Complete course work and lab exercises pertaining to Level I.U.T. Inspection.
5. Correctly demonstrate use of U.T., Visual Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, and Penetrant Testing inspection procedures.
