DESCRIPTION: Selected problem solving in a variety of welding fabrication and construction areas. May involve special assignments, laboratory, and on-the-job experience. Approved after consultation with instructor.
TAUGHT:
CONTENT AND TOPICS: This class is often taken by students who want to explore and research areas relating to welding engineering technology.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The course will allow the student to work at his own pace on welding related topics under supervision of the instructors. Goals and objectives will be established on an individual basis and based on credits taken and completed project. The student will work independently with little supervision from the instructor.
REQUIREMENTS: Student must be familiar with shop practices, tools, and equipment.
PREREQUISITES: Weld 105 and Weld 280
