GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: This is a movement class where rhythms, styles, and techniques of clog dance on an intermediate-advanced level will be introduced to the student.
TAUGHT: Winter, Fall
CONTENT AND TOPICS:
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1.Explore clog routines which include a high level of skill and learn advanced steps.
2.Increase self-confidence and enjoyment in a dance environment.
3.Learn to discriminate the different dances according to the music.
4.Heighten physical well-being through movement activity.
5.Experience the opportunity to create and perform a dance routine in a small group.
REQUIREMENTS: Class attendance and participation is required. Practical and written evaluations and participation in a showcase.
PREREQUISITES: Dance 171 or consent of instructor.
