| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1. Understand and use a variety of instructional strategies to create a learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation. 2. Plan and prepare instruction based on knowledge of subject matter, students, and curriculum goals. 3. Demonstrate a commitment to professional standards and continually engage in purposeful mastery of the art and science of teaching. 4. Understand how students differ in their approaches to learning and creates learning opportunities that are adapted to students with diverse needs. 5. Interact in a professional manner with peers, cooperating teachers, principals, parents to support the students' learning and well-being. |
