Senior Capstone

GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: The capstone course is designed as a variable content course allowing seniors to explore topics of interest to them, while using knowledge and skills developed during their course of study.
TAUGHT: Winter, Summer, Fall
CONTENT AND TOPICS: At the present time, student from within the College of Business and Communication can choose between four Department of Economics capstone options:

  1. Summer outdoor leadership training program offered in conjunction with the Recreation Leadership Department.

  2. Regional economic newsletter published by the Department of Economics.

  3. Supplemental applications committee associated with major College of Business and Communication events.

  4. Economic research project. Under this option, the student will work closely with a primary faculty advisor to integrate key elements from the past coursework into a significant piece of economic analysis.
