| DESCRIPTION: |
The capstone course is designed as a variable content course allowing seniors to explore topics of interest to them, while using knowledge and skills developed during their course of study. |

| CONTENT AND TOPICS: |
At the present time, student from within the College of Business and Communication can choose between four Department of Economics capstone options:
- Summer outdoor leadership training program offered in conjunction with the Recreation Leadership Department.
- Regional economic newsletter published by the Department of Economics.
- Supplemental applications committee associated with major College of Business and Communication events.
- Economic research project. Under this option, the student will work closely with a primary faculty advisor to integrate key elements from the past coursework into a significant piece of economic analysis.
