DESCRIPTION: Regional and public economics is the analysis of location choices of firms and households, regional land-use policies, and public policy choices (such as education, crime, house, transportation, etc.). The course also includes useful methods for analyzing local economic growth, collective decision-making, and assessing local tax and spending (budget) issues.
