| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -Present a carefully considered personal response to the question: What is literature? -Read representative works from the major literary genres in the literature of Spain and Spanish America. -Explore major critical and theoretical approaches to literature, identifying those that are most useful in individual reading. -Write in a way that reflects growth in the ability to comment insightfully on literary texts, to read literature with greater sophistication, and to express opinions and interpretations clearly and effectively orally and in writing. |
