| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Spanish phonemes and allophones, place of articulation, manner of articulation, voiced and unvoiced phonemes, nasals, diphthongs, phonetic transcriptions, dialectal variations, stress, intonation, other assorted phonological items. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -Gain a greater understanding of the Spanish sound system, eliminating many English influences in Spanish pronunciation. -Improve conversational abilities through practice, phonetics instruction, and vocabulary building. -Have sufficient knowledge of phonetics to effectively teach good Spanish pronunciation. |
