|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||-Become familiar with the principal writers, themes, and questions of Spanish-American literature from the Pre-Columbian era through the contemporary scene.
-Develop an appreciation for the development of that literature through time and an increased ability to deal with a given text as literature per se.
|REQUIREMENTS:||Readings, discussion, lecture, student prsentations, student papers, exams.|
|PREREQUISITES:||Spanish 339 with grade of "C" or higher, or consent of instructor.|
