DESCRIPTION: A cross-section of major literary works in German.
TAUGHT: Fall and Winter (odd years)
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Students study literary genres including the novel [and corresponding film], novelette, short story, drama and the Holy scriptures.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Know about, love and appreciate major literary works and the significance, impact, reflection of philosophical ideals, attitudes and ideas upon society.
REQUIREMENTS: Lecture, reading/discussion, reading assignments, workbook exercises, quizzes/tests, German ideas, quotes, final exam.
PREREQUISITES: German 202 and 321
