| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Basic speaking, listening, writing, reading skills and knowledge of the grammar to enable the student to communicate comprehensibly about the themes chosen for the semester. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | -Complete simple communicative tasks such as talking and writing about one's health, future plans, traveling, the weather, and ordering a meal in a restaurant. -Be able to comprehend basic conversations using vocabulary and structures from the communicative tasks covered. -Be able to skim and scan realia to fulfill certain tasks and answer certain questions. -Be able to finish their overview of the basic points of Russian grammar including conditional and subjunctive moods, and the declensions of plural nouns and adjectives. -Increase awareness of cultural issues in Russian world through incorporation of cultural material. |
