|CONTENT AND TOPICS:||Begins with the alphabet and basic pronunciation.
Grammar covered includes noun gender and number, adjective agreement, personal pronouns, present tense and present perfect conjugations and usage, reflexive pronouns, ser and estar, comparisons, negatives, formal commands, and direct and indirect object pronouns. Cultural glimpses will be scattered throughout.
|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||-Use Spanish to complete simple communicative tasks such as introductions, seeking and responding to personal information about others, and talking about one's family and personal schedule.
-Become aware of important issues in the Hispanic world.
