Recommended for Secondary Earth Science Education majors, and Geology Minors as well as, any other students interested in rocks and minerals. Not for Geology Majors. | ||

Magmatic systems - melting, diversification, and crystallization 15. Clastic sedimentary rocks - classification, environments and genesis 16. | GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1. Identify common rock and mminerals; ubterpret their origins. 2. Understand their significance to the interpretation of geologic history and their economic value to our society. 3. Gain the background to teach these concepts and skills to high school and junior high school students. |
