DESCRIPTION: Explores meaning of "health" as it applies to people of many different cultures throughout the world. Provides an international evaluation of the health status of these many different cultures, including their morbidity and mortality rates. Evaluates the many health promotion methods used to create healthy lifestyles and environmental concerns among these cultures.

CONTENT AND TOPICS:
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: The student will: 1) demonstrate how the international health movement is correlated, 2) develop a program and demonstrate how to safely visit sites in many different countries of the world, 3) develop an awareness of the public health issues of many areas of the world.
