Health for the secondary teacher, emphasizing his or her role as a health educator, methodologies of teaching, and a wide variety of strategies for teaching health education. |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: |
Each student will: 1) develop a complete background of health education, 2) demonstrate various strategies and understandings for teaching diverse types of students, 3) relate to students of various backgrounds in assisting them in making positive lifelong health decisions, 4) demonstrate the aspects of being an organized teacher. |

| PREREQUISITES: |
HS 131 or 131W, BIO 264, BIO 265. Must be a declared Health Education Major or Minor in junior or senior year. Health Minors are not required to have BIO 265. |
