DESCRIPTION: A methodological approach to studying history, with students applying the method to historical subject or subjects of their choice.
TAUGHT: Colloquium or Seminar every semester
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Defined by the instructor
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Learn a specific method of historical inquiry as defined by the instructor.
Apply that specific method of historical inquiry to an extensive research project.
Write a substantial research paper demonstrating competence with the specific method of historical inquiry.
REQUIREMENTS:
PREREQUISITES: Must have completed Hist 300 with a C- or better.
