CONTENT AND TOPICS: -Introduces students to the floral industry.
-A beginning level course introducing basic skills and concepts.
-Basic bouquet construction, corsage construction post harvest care and handling; connecting the grower and the consumer.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Learn the history of floral adornment.
2. Learn the principles and elements of design bouquet.
3. Learn bouquet designing methods and beginning level corsage construction technique.
4. Explore floral industry opportunities.
5. Identify floral materials.
