DESCRIPTION: Class preparation for work experience in the florist, landscape or nursery industry.

CONTENT AND TOPICS:
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Identify objectives, make preparation and plans, and complete paperwork required for an internship in horticulture.

2. Receive assistance in locating and setting up an internship with a business whose practices fit the interests, needs and training objectives of the individual student.
REQUIREMENTS: Horticulture, landscape, floral majors must enroll in this course as preparation for Hort 298B.
PREREQUISITES: Horticulture major or consent of instructor.
