DESCRIPTION: This course covers issues related to information system security. This course will provide broad-based knowledge and concepts of system security and develop skills in basic security practices and standards.

  1. Identify general security concepts.

  2. Explain communication security concepts.

  3. Define infrastructure security concepts and uses.

  4. Understand the basics of cryptography.

  5. Identify operational and organizational security issues.
