| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Conquest of Canaan; period of the Judges; Samuel, the Prophet; the United Monarchy under Saul, David, Solomon; the divided kingdom; Canaanite religion; the scattering of Israel and Judah; the return of the Jews from exile; the books of poetry; and the prophets. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1. Know names, events, and dates concerning Israel from Joshua (1250 BC) to Malachi (432 BC). 2. Know the major topics of the major prophets, Isaiah to Malachi, including the scattering and gathering of Israel. 3. Relate doctrines, events, and God's dealing with people to the present day. |

| REQUIREMENTS: | Regular attendance is required. All faculty give assignments, but each determines his/her own combination of text assignments, projects, and tests. | ||
