DESCRIPTION: Practical experience working in a math intensive industry.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Will vary depending on the type of work the employer requires of the student.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Gain experience working in a math intensive industry.
2. Create contacts that will enhance the student's ability to find employment upon graduation.
REQUIREMENTS: A final written report, detailing the work experience and knowledge gained. Possibly, some readings will be assigned. Also, an oral report to students and faculty may be required.
PREREQUISITES: Approval of the department internship coordinator.
