GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: For all Freshman and transfer music majors. Covers topics relative to musicianship, such as aesthetics in music, music fitness, performance anxiety, etc., as well as other topics. Concert attendance for all music majors is included. Attendance at ten music events is required per semester. Grade is Pass/Fail.
TAUGHT: Winter
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Students will be introduced to music wellness, to include the areas of music medicine, the Alexander Technique, fitness for musicians and performance anxiety.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Acquire knoweldge of musical aspects.
REQUIREMENTS: Class and concert attendance.
