| DESCRIPTION: | A one semester course that gives women experience in 2, 3, and 4 part singing. This class also serves as a lab for Music 100. | ||

| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Music Selected: Varies from semester to semester and is chosen by the instructor to expose students to a wide variety of musical styles and periods. |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | 1. Improve music reading and aural skills, including interval recognition, as well as improve ability to hear and sing parts. 2. Experience the joy found in ensemble singing of high quality music. |

| REQUIREMENTS: | Consistent class attendance is required as well as participation in dress rehearsals and concerts. (These vary from semester to semester.) Grade is determined by attendance and attitude. For most students very little outside preparation is necessary with most work being done in class. |
