GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: A select choir of 60-70 singers designed to perform a wide variety of musical styles. This choir specializes in the performance of a cappella music but also performs some accompanied music. Concert Chorale often combines with other choirs to perform larger works with the Symphony Orchestra. (Concurrent enrollment in private voice training is recommended.) See M100L for the Arts registration option for choirs.
TAUGHT: Fall, Winter
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Perfecting of musical notes, phrasing, enunciation, tonal color and communication of selections
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Have experiences which challenge one to grow musically, spiritually and socially while at the same time providing both the performer and the audiences the fulfillment that comes through learning, performing and listening to choral music at a high level of excellence.
REQUIREMENTS: Attend scheduled classes, rehearsals, and performances.
PREREQUISITES: Audition.
