| DESCRIPTION: | A one-semester course for string education majors where the focus will be on demonstrating quality rehearsal techniques, individual and group problem solving, class pacing and quality performance through proper lesson planning. Students will also improve their performance skills by participating on a secondary string instrument. | ||

| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | Group instruction dynamics and rehearsal techniques; evaluating beginning and intermediate string literature; student conducting in a string orchestra setting with evaluation and critique. | ||
