GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: Twelve regularly scheduled 25-minute lessons. Master classes are not a requirement, but are strongly recommended.
TAUGHT: Fall, Winter
CONTENT AND TOPICS: Rudiments of cello.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Increase understanding and application of technique and ability to perform securely, beautifully, and musically convincingly.
2. Acquire fundamentals on instrument for non-music majors.
REQUIREMENTS: 45 minutes per day 6 days a week practice time. Performance oportunities are available on Cello Master Class and Music Department STAR recitals throughout the semester.
