|DESCRIPTION:||Private lessons for freshmen music majors. Six 50-minute lessons per semester. If class is repeated, jury may be applied for.|
|CONTENT AND TOPICS:|
|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||1. Increase understanding and application of technique inmusical performance.
2. Increase ability to perform securely, beautifully, and musically convincingly on given instrument.
3. Pass listed performance and technique requirements, according to appropriate level.
4. Develop good practice habits.
5. Acquire fundamental and advanced skills on instrument for music majors.
|REQUIREMENTS:||1 1/2 to 2 hours daily practice.|
