Hospital experience: Emergency Department, Operating Room,intubations, IV therapy, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, ICU/CUU, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ECG, Post Anesthesia Recovery, Respiratory Therapy, Medical Floor, Geriatrics, Central Supply/ Pharmacy, Rehabilitation and Behavioral Health. Must be taken for a minimum of 420 hospital hours. (May be taken more than one semester.) |

| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: |
Students will gain experience in the following areas of a hospital: 1) emergency department, 2) operating room, 3) intubations, 4) IV therapy, 5) labor and delivery, 6) pediatrics, 7) ICU/CUU, 8) cardiac catherterization lab, 9) ECG, 10) post anesthesia recovery, 11) respiratory therapy, 12) medical floor, 13) geriatrics, 14) central supply/pharmacy, 15) rehabilitation, and 16) behavioral health. |

Concurrent enrollment in Para 288. Paramedic majors only. |
