| CONTENT AND TOPICS: | A physically demanding class including a wide variety of aerobic activities and body sculpturing. Activities are provided to tax both beginner and advanced student. High impact aerobics are combined with low impact aerobics resulting in a full body conditioning class. | ||
| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | To become more physically fit 1. Improve cardiovascular endurance 2. Develop better exercise and nutritional habits 3. Learn to incorporate exercise into your lifestyle and make it a lifetime commitment 4. Exhibit ability to teach aerobic fitness 5. Exhibit knowledge and skill of fundamentals of cardiovascular fitness 6. Exhibit knowledge of good nutrition 7. Identify major muscle groups |

| REQUIREMENTS: | The student will learn and do the following: 1. Attend in-class activities 2. Cardiovascular training and nutritional guidelines through lecture and video tapes 3. Do a contract log, personal achievement log, and work-out log 4. Participate in partner teaching 5. Do a nutrition report 6. Pass written tests 7. Attend class guest lectures |

| OTHER: | 1. Two unexcused absences allowed 2. Four or more absences will result in automatic failure. 3. Pass/Fail grade is available with less than four absences. 4. BYU-Idaho clothing required |
