| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Student will: 1. Learn to play, and exhibit knowledge of scoring and use of strategy of intermediate tennis 2. Exercise enough to get a cardiovascular work-out and to relieve stress 3. Effectively play competitive tennis. 4. Exhibit knowledge of terminology, rules, safety practices and correct fundamentals of tennis 5. Develop and exhibit skills to teach rules, fundamentals, and strategies of intermediate tennis and organizing a tournament |

| REQUIREMENTS: | Student will: 1. Exhibit ability to play beyond beginning tennis 2. Learn by demonstration, lecture, video, conditioning, presentations, and observation 3. Attend class and participate 4. Participate in drills, games, tournaments, and competition 5. Pass skill and written tests |

| OTHER: | 1. Tennis racquets are available from Hart 202 2. No locker fee for Summer and Fall Semesters 3. Locker fee charged for Winter Semester 4. Balls will be furnished 5. Students may wear own modest clothing during Summer and Fall semesters when playing on outdoor courts. |
