DESCRIPTION: A basic course dealing with the formation of soils as well as the physical, chemical and biological properties of soils.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: A basic course dealing with the formation, physical, chemical and biological properties of soils. Practical studies in diagnosing and correcting plant nutrient deficiencies for various crops and rotations.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Study plant relations to soil properties
2. Understand the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil.
3. Determine the agricultural applications of soil properties.
REQUIREMENTS: Agron 220L Lab required to be taken with this class.
