| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Be introduced to law and the legal process. Be introduced to legal terminology and explanation of a case study, preparing student for studying court cases later in class. Be introduced to ethical issues. Discuss relationship between law and ethics by studing specific cases. Become acquainted with the systems of the courts of the U.S. Receive general explanations of procedures of civil suits. Be introduced to the criminal justice system. |
