DESCRIPTION: Basic physiological, anatomical, and chemical foundation of behavior.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: Overview of brain/behavior relationships.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Know basic neuroanatomy.
2. Know basic neurophysiology.
3. Know basic brain-behavior relationships.
4. Know how to label parts of the brain.
5. Know how to evaluate scientific literature.
REQUIREMENTS: Objective tests, essay exams, Pin tests, annotated bibliography research paper, and an oral presentation.
PREREQUISITES: Psych 111
