GENERAL EDUCATION: This course does not fulfill a General Education requirement.

DESCRIPTION: Continuation of the comprehensive two semester integrated design experience using the psychological research process and skills gained in psychology classes. Institutional research approval, data collection, and anaylsis, project write-up.
TAUGHT: Fall, Winter
CONTENT AND TOPICS:
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: 1. Gather data in accordance with the approved methodology established in Psych 491.
2. Analyze data with the appropriate statistical techniques.
3. Make an oral presentation of the project to the class.
4. Submit a final paper: Write up the results with the materials completed in Psych 491 in APA publication submission format.
5. Prepare a poster and participate in a poster presentation session.
REQUIREMENTS: Apply for research approval through the institutional research office, gather and analyze data, write a results section, a discussion section, a references section, appendices, and prepare an abstract using APA publication quidelines. Prepare a poster and participate in a poster session. Give an oral presentation of project in class.
PREREQUISITES: Psych 491 and consent of instructor.
