DESCRIPTION: To introduce, explore, and blend knowledge values and skills used by social workers. Methods of Social Work practice within a generalized framework.

CONTENT AND TOPICS: To introduce, explore, and blend knowledge values and skills used by social workers. Methods of Social Work practice within a generalized framework.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: Develop in the student, content, skills, knowlege, and ethics, emphasizing professional relationships; develop sensitivity in working with diverse populations through the use of the generalist approach.
REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of this course will be evidenced by the students regular attendance in class and completion of workbook assignments as given throughout the semester. Students will be assessed on their ability to integrate knowledge and skills learned in this course. A portfolio and group video demonstrating the integration of sills and knowledge will also be required.
