|CONTENT AND TOPICS:||This course is planned to acquaint students with the role of the generalist social work practioneers in the field of Child Welfare. An overview of public and private programs that provide services to children is provided.|
|GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:||To develop social work knowledge and competency by applying and integrating a variety of social work methods and theoretical frameworks for professional social work employment.|
|REQUIREMENTS:||Read required text, read supplemental readings.
Attend a social work setting and write about the experience.
