| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Develop an understanding of the history of Social Work and social welfare services and the role of policy delivery in Social Work practice. The student will understand the role of policy in service delivery and practice and attainment of individual and social well being. Develop knowledge and skills to understand and analyze organizational, local, state, national, and international issues in social welfare policy and social service delivery. Develop skills to use policy practice to influence, formulate, and advcocate for policy consistent with Social Work values. |
