| GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: | Identify schools of sociological thought and key theorists of each tradition. Summarize the major tenets of each theory. Distinguish between the various theoretical perspectives within each tradition. Interpret social phenomenon by theory. Apply theoretical explanation to contemporary and historical events. Participate in critical discourse, informed theory, about the social world. |
